An In-depth, Individualized Approach

With 15 years experience in working with children and adolescents of all ages, backgrounds, and needs, I am well versed in several phonics, reading, writing, and vocabulary programs that will help any learner reach their potential. Former clients include those struggling with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, ESL, non-readers, and simply those that have fallen behind. Once a clients' areas of needs are identified in the first few sessions, a customized lesson plan with a step-by-step approach toward improvement will be created and fostered.

My one-on-one sessions are focused and intensive, my success rates high, and my rapport with students excellent with a paramount focus on implementing fun and mutual respect. Victor Hugo once said, "To learn to read is to light a fire, every syllable that is spelled out a spark". My aim is to spark long-term interest and motivation in each of my students so that they may succeed in all areas of literacy and beyond.
